here my best image taken from "Pic du Midi observatory" 2010 28th Sept at 10h55 T.U
C.14 + mylar filter at front aperture 355 mm of diameter.
Green interferential 514.5 nano filter / skynyx 2.1 M camera

I took this photo as comet Jaques flew by the elephant trunk nebula. Taken with very minimal equipment.
Shining brightly at the top right is the Garnet Star.

The OIII loop isn't related to Sh2-101 and is associated with the Cygnus X-1 binary system. An image of it was taken by Steve Cullen and was featured on APOD: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap090608.html
The nebula around Cygnus X-1 was also imaged by Don Goldman: http://www.astrodonimaging.com/gallery/ ... ?imgID=254
