Feedback: Archive page listing size

Apologies if already suggested. Search didn't result in anything.

I was wondering if the archive page could be modified to only show the current year. With a year filter at the top? The page itself is quite large, and takes a bit of time to fully load. I don't know about most users, but generally I use the archive to catch up from recent days or weeks I've missed. Then if I wanted to see different years, I still could using the filters.

Haha, I just noticed the calendar page last night, and feel greatly embarrassed for this post now.
