The attempt to make Mars an engrossing docu-drama and get NGC higher ratings makes me "simile". 
In comparison how some use thankfulness to our veterans to sell their products, I'm not sure which one is more self-serving.
I guess I should be happy Mars and our troops get the extra attention but it seems so unnecessarily seedy.
