While visiting Mammoth Lakes, I photographed the same crescent moon before heading off to visit Yosemite.

A few days later the moon was setting over Mammoth mountain.

Then it slipped over the top leaving a sliver between the trams.

The EPOD today is also lenticular clouds. What an interesting coincidence. It's neat to see the same phenomenon looking so different.

Wow, Fred, your last picture looks like a flock of birds was settling on the sliver of the Moon!

Well, a flock of ski lift gondolas, anyway.
