NGC 7331 and Stefans Quintett

Post by androsch.mike@gmail.com » Tue Dec 31, 2024 12:25 pm

I really am always surprised what one can do with a DSLR and 4" TMB if there is no moon and seeing is good. This is my best shot of 2024, taken in the last few moonless nights with 6 1/2 hours (13x 30 min.) of collecting photons at ISO 1600 and f/6.3. I cropped, so both the Deer Lick Group and Stefans Quintett can be seen together.

Happy New Year!
