An impressive image, even though they have their left and right mixed up or should I say their east and west. (You’re other left)
My favorite is the Eagle Nebula.

Left or right; I was always intrigued by the Orion Constellation as it is very easy to identify in the sky. The three blue stars in the belt do make a very awesome sight.

WOW

Interesting though, how the alignment of these three stars mimic the alignment of the three great pyramids. (Obviously by design) (But who's?)

uhmmmmm, by the Pyramid builders? :?

I don’t see how one relates to the other, nor would I assume there was a placement relationship and wouldn’t it be the three pyramids mimic the stars not visa versa?

It's true the Egyptians put their gods in the sky...

There's two more pyramids that represent Betelgeuse and Rigel as well.

Well of course it was designed that the pyramids would be the ones mimicking the stars and not the other way around.

I thought that the entire 7 star group of the constellation Orion was found in the placement of the pyramids. I remember seeing a special on the subject where they had taken an image of the grouping of stars and superimposed it on a map of the pyramids which when scaled to fit, matched almost perfectly.

Also, every culture has placed its God(s) in the sky (Heavens). The Greeks, the Egyptions, even current Theology places Heaven "above".

A number of objects could be placed randomly anywhere and one could find at least one set of star patterns to match.

I don't see it:

neither I see it, when I flip an image:

these patterns do NOT match

Now you really have gone and done it Makc, either the sky has fallen or Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka have landed.

A little cynical, considering that Orion is one of the most noticable constellations in the northern hemispher, and there aren't that many great pyramids....

I take it you're being ironic?!....

why? no matter how I put an image, original or flipped, over pyramids plan, it doesn't fit it: when I align any two stars at pyramids centers, a third one gets in wrong place.

if you think the match is accurate enough, consider this:

8) 8) 8)

as you can see, those piramids aligned just like these emoticons! perhaps, Eugyptian prophet have foreseen my post?

And lest we forget: Isn't it a bit strange that the Horsehead Nebula looks like a horse...and the Greeks built the Trojan Horse...

Coincidence? I think not!

thank, O., now I see it! it could be Trojan cow, Trojan duck, anything... but no, it has got to be a horse! wow, you have opened my eyes

I never once stated that it was an exact or precise alignment only that it "Mimics" the alignment. Your photos actually help tp prove my point in that none of the belt stars fall outside of a pyramid. In your "Flipped image" One of the prominent nebula also falls on a lesser pyramid and the "Horse head" falls in another specific area.

Again, I am not saying that it is exact but it is interesting.

(At least the belt lines up (NOT PERFECTLY) even if the other 4 stars do not.

Has anyone considered where those stars would have been several thousands of years ago when they were built? :?:

I would try a different constellation and anticipate where the next pyramids might have been built. Or maybe . . . One Of The Pyramids Is Missing!!!!!

Too bad that only one of your emoticons lines up center to center though.

And what about stellar drift? How far have they moved since the initial construction? I doubt that there is any acturate way to tell.

But then most things are theory and conjecture.

I see your point, but more sepcifically there is a line of three pyramids, but one of them is smaller and slightly offline, re: Orion's belt.

Plus I'm sure there are two other pyramids representing Betelguese and Rigel - I will try and find a picture (when I make these posts I'm supposed to be working so it might take a while.!! )
