The Astronomy Pictures of the Year (2007)
They are really good choices. I especially liked many of the images of Comet McNaught, since I never had a good view of it here in my location, and was glad to see that it was one of the first ones included. Plus, the "Dark Sky Over Death Valley" was another excellent choice.
I'm sure it was tough deciding which images would be included. To TPTB: GREAT job!!!!!

I'm glad they included "The International Space Station Expands Again" to have at least one with a spacecraft in it.
"Markarian's Eyes" is also very spectacular, as most galaxy mergers are.

I'm wondering which was the only unanimous choice*?
I think it is, very likely, one of the two Indigo_Sunrise mentioned - Comet McNaught and the black&white Death Valley shot. They are the two I'd've picked as most likely to include 'the one'.
Like Case, I also find the Markarian's Eyes terrific, all the more because it was taken by an amateur astronomer (way to go Ken)!
All in all a most difficult task for the editors.
*"In fact, of these 12 APOYs only one was unanimously selected."

The unanimous choice picture was actually the first one -- the one of Comet McNaught by McNaught himself. There were not only many good pictures this year, there were no "must includes." Another example of this is that there are no duplicates with the Bad Astronomers Top Ten list:

orin, I had to take the roundabout way to view it, too. I went to the BA site and searched for it. Phil's images are some good ones, as well. When you do get there - enjoy!
