Interstellar clouds

If the earth would go into a cosmic cloud , what would hapen?
Is the cloud dense enough to influence live on planet earth?

We may have a reduction of viewing capacities of telescopes of about .01 percent.
Is the cloud dense enough to influence live on planet earth?
